ComfyUI

The comfyui-videorouter node pack does two things once installed:

  • Its own nodes — VideoRouter Image Generate/Image Edit — text-to-image and image-to-image against your videorouter.sh credits. Each node's own model field is a live-refreshing dropdown over the real catalog — no separate picker node needed.
  • A Partner Node relay — redirects ComfyUI's own official Partner Nodes (Kling, MiniMax, BFL, Veo, Meshy, WaveSpeed, ElevenLabs, and 20+ more) to bill through your videorouter.sh account instead of a comfy.org one. No changes to those nodes, no comfy.org login needed — every other official Partner Node this relay doesn't specifically cover is left completely alone.

Works identically on ComfyUI Desktop and manual/portable installs — same custom_nodes/ layout either way, no desktop-specific fork required.

1. Install the node pack

Via ComfyUI Manager (bundled into every current ComfyUI install) — open the Manager panel, search “VideoRouter”, click Install, restart ComfyUI.

Or manually — clone the pack straight into your ComfyUI install's custom_nodes/ directory and restart:

Terminal
cd path/to/ComfyUI/custom_nodes
git clone https://github.com/synvia-corp/comfyui-videorouter.git

2. Set your API key

Open ComfyUI's Settings (gear icon) → VideoRouter → Auth → API Key, paste a key from videorouter.sh/keys, and restart ComfyUI. Set once, every relayed node picks it up automatically. Saved server-side by ComfyUI itself into its own settings file — never into a shared workflow.json.

There's no per-node api_key widget to fill in on individual nodes — the Settings panel above is the only place the key is set, so a shared workflow.json never carries a live key.

3. (Optional) Set a provider strategy

Settings → VideoRouter → Routing → Provider Selection Strategy picks which host videorouter.sh routes a relayed request to, among the confirmed-identical hosts for that model — the same idea as ComfyUI's own local hardware routing, applied to the hosted providers this pack relays to instead:

StrategyBehavior
Lowest cost (default)Cheapest confirmed host wins.
Fastest finishLowest measured end-to-end generation latency.
Most reliableHighest measured success rate.
Fastest startLowest measured queue time before generation begins.

This is a single global setting, not a per-node control — none of the official Partner Node schemas this pack relays have a host-selection input of their own to attach one to. Takes effect on ComfyUI's next restart.

What's relayed

Only the request shapes below have a confirmed price and are billed through videorouter.sh — anything else on a covered node prefix is rejected with a clear error rather than silently guessed at, and any other provider's official node is passed straight through to comfy.org, unaffected.

ProviderCoverage
KlingText-to-video, “Kling 3.0 Turbo”
MiniMax H3Text-to-video (“MiniMax H3” option)
VeoText/image-to-video, 3.1/fast/lite
MeshyText/image/multi-image-to-3D
WaveSpeedSeedVR2 image & video upscale
ElevenLabsText-to-speech, speech-to-text

Where a node's real requested checkpoint has no confirmed direct price, the relay substitutes the closest confirmed one rather than rejecting outright (always explicit, never silent) — you get a real generation, just not always the exact tier/version picked in the node's own dropdown.
